This was my first time eating here. The cashier was nice but she was the only one up front taking ordered so we stood in line about 15 minutes waiting to place our ordered. I ordered the pork chops, yams and collards. The food was good. I would go back. I just think someone should have helped take the orders. I forgot to take a picture of my food but I got the sweet potato pie and it was very delicious. I took a picture of it.

There's a guy with tattoos on his face. I think he was kind of flirty also when he came back to retake my order he told me not to be looking at him like that but we're not friends. I'm a customer so you don't know me well enough to talk to me in that matter. Everyone should be respected and if I do look at you in a way at least I didn't say anything. I looked at you wondering why you're calling other people orders before mine. Maybe they should have him in the back cooking. They did give me a sample of the brown chicken stew. It was really good. However, I feel like they pour beans a pot that's already have some that's cooked because I ran across a few hard ones in my meal and I think that they should be mindful of that. I also had to wait a little bit longer because I think they have put a couple others before me because their order was called before mine And then I had to tell them again what my order was. They are a little bit more on the expensive side, especially with the cakes. It's a thin slice and it's like $4 or $5. The juice is pretty good as well, but it's kind of expensive for just a small bottle smaller than the average bottle of water. Other than that everything was well

My grandmother loves Vittles at the Park. She's literally the pickiest eater I know but requests the Hamburger Steak and Gravy with green beans and coleslaw at least once a week. And I order it without hesitation.

A friend and I went for lunch. The selection is great. The food was fresh, well seasoned, and not heavy. So good to have place like this nearby. We had the whiting and flounder with sides of mash, turkey collards, and mac n cheese. All of it was chef’s kiss. The flavor is in there. Look out for Friday-Saturday specials. I’ll be coming back for that brown stew chicken.

Service was good, they'll call your name when your food is ready( nice and hot), I love the carryout trays because if you don't eat all of your food you don't have to get in a line to get a bag and carry out tray! Very clean eating area (spacious), clean restroom! I did good! I didn't leave you an after shot of my plate. My cousin was already in his! Smacking and telling God thank you for the good food! You get your drink out of a drink box( fridge), and they have different drinks bottled different flavors ! I have seen this in several restaurants lately instead of a fountain. Doesn't bother me because I love water to sip on. . I always bring family and friends here! They are always very pleased with the food because it truly has that down home taste, food is always cooked fresh, good and hotjust like I love it! Restaurant has different beverages and CAKEYou know food is good when it silences everyone at the table and you hear jaw bones, slurping, crunching and lips attaching like magnets together at the table. I go there to eat every time I visit. [Was there 10/5/25]

I had fried catfish, cabbage, and potato salad. The food was as good as Id make at home. The service was quick, but could've been friendlier (my food was fresh and hot too). The restaurant was very clean and inviting. I'd eat here again.

The food was good. My only issue was my Cajun catfish didn’t have the first hint of Cajun. I was expecting spicy, but it tastes like regular fish to me. However, it was good… just not Cajun.

My only complaint is the wait time for food & no Cajun was tasted in my fish, just regular. It took 32 mins for me to receive a Cajun catfish plate with Mac & cabbage but it was DELICIOUS! Lemonade was great. Fresh & hot food. Turkey BBQ is BOMB!
